I AM

In the silvery lining up in the clouds, a dream was born to comfort a child.

It rained for decades, the cloud was full; the child was stuck, thinking life was cruel.

An angel appeared and kicked the cloud; the sun came through and covered the child.

No more tears flowed out of the sky, only goodness and love, and the child was dry.

She went on to live a life full of joy, living her life by only her choice.

The rain had all fallen and changes were made, the child grew up and discovered her fate.

The angel still followed, watching and waiting, in case another cloud grew and tried to break her.

But to the surprise of the angel, and the clouds, the woman found strength, and was happy and proud.

Life became different because she found herself, with the help of the angel and her own inner wealth.

The heavy clouds have departed now, and her future looks brighter with the sun on her brow.

“You’re beautiful,” said the angel “and good and divine.” “I know”, said the woman, “and it’s about time.”

She is still, lives in the moment, and is grateful for it all: for the angel’s faith in her and protection from the clouds.

As her life unfolds, her dream comes to life: “I am,” said the woman, “a writer, singer, a worthy person and one day, a wife.”

So no matter what clouds you think hold you down, remember we all have the power to change things around.

Be still, be silent, and hear the angel’s plan.

Those who are grateful will always achieve whatever comes after, “I am…”
