I learned about choosing one word of the year a few years ago. Instead of writing down goals and New Year’s resolutions, you choose one word that reflects what you want to accomplish, be, or have in your life. Then you place the word somewhere where you see it often. I put my word in the front of my yearly planner so I see it.

You’d be surprised how one word can have an impact on what you do in the year. Give some time to think about it and see if you can figure out one word that reflects what you want for your life in 2023.

So for example, if you want to exercise more in 2023, you might choose the word “fitness” or “motion.” If you want to bring in more money, “abundant” would be a good one. Do you want to feel more appreciation? Then “blessed” or “gratitude” would work. You get the picture.  Check out the word ideas I’ve listed below. I bet you’ll know the word when you see it. That’s how I got mine before. I’m still trying to figure out which word I want for 2023.

These are the words I have chosen:

2020 – Conquer – I wanted to conquer any fears and wrong messaging. I did that!

2021 – Achieve – I chose this word to help me achieve my goals.

2022 – Capable – I wanted to feel capable of achieving my goals. I did feel that!
