5 Ways To Make Life Better

These are my thoughts on how to make life better: 

  1. Pay attention to what you think and speak. Flip the script to gratitude if you start complaining. When I find myself complaining, I try to think of one thing to be grateful for, and I instantly feel better.
  2. Be true to yourself. Yes, it sounds cliche, but it’s the way to a better life. You don’t need anyone’s approval to put a value on your worth. You are enough just for being you. There’s only one of you! Embrace it, and don’t deny the world your uniqueness. 
  3. Stop beating yourself up, comparing yourself to others, wishing you were thinner, younger, more successful, etc. It’s a waste of precious resources that you need to live a better life. Love who and where you are now. It’s the only time you will ever be this way again. 
  4. Listen more and let others know you care about them. It’ll come back to you tenfold.
  5. Keep busy doing something productive. That builds your self-confidence and makes life better because you created something.
